Vendor Compliance is responsible for all issues related to freight coming from the vendor into the Distribution Centers. It is Vendor Compliance’s responsibility to track, and communicate all issues relating to inaccurate shipments, damaged freight, and any other issues concerning our Vendor Compliance Agreement and its addendums. Vendor Compliance issues must be captured and communicated by following our Standard Operating Procedures.

 

                      SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible and accountable for using, knowing, and operating the systems affiliated with Rural King Distribution operations.
  • Must become knowledgeable with the Vendor Compliance Agreement and the addendums that coincide with it.
  • Responsible for using desktop terminals, computer tablet, RF scan guns, and all Microsoft functions. Also, must be able to identify, resolve and communicate all Vendor Compliance issues.
  • Responsible for record keeping and data entry pertaining to various Vendor Compliance issues.
  • Responsible for compliance in process and procedure for all operational practices.
  • Must be able to work with other business units to resolve Vendor Compliance issues.
  • Must follow all safety regulations as well as keeping work your area clean and organized.
  • Needs to be flexible and work in multiple areas due to business needs.

     

     

     

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  •  

    Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, bend, carry, and push.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
  • May work under stressful circumstances at times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior warehouse / manufacturing experience.
  • Experience and proficient knowledge with all Microsoft functions- Outlook, Excel, Power point, Word etc.
  • Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
  • Experience with Forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
