What You’ll do

 

As an SEO Content Associate you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and analyzing content that supports organic search growth. This role blends SEO writing, copywriting, and performance analysis into one position, supporting on-site content, blogs, promotional copy, and search-driven initiatives across channels.

  • Write and optimize SEO-friendly content for category pages, product copy, blogs, and promotions.
  • Perform keyword research and content gap analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Optimize on-page elements including metadata, headers, internal links, and alt text.
  • Monitor content performance using Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Refresh and improve existing content to maintain rankings and relevance.
  • Collaborate with paid search, social, and email teams to align messaging and strategy.
  • Maintain an editorial and optimization calendar.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of SEO writing, content marketing, or digital copy experience.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Magento). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication

 

Physical Requirements  

 

  • Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
  • Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
  • Able to navigate and access all facilities.
  • Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
  • Close vision for computer-related tasks.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.95 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
