The Mall Relations Coordinator is a dual-purpose role. First, is to provide outstanding customer service and organize memorable events that meet quality expectations at the Cross County Mall. The second is to serve as a support position to assist in the growing number of 3rd party tenants that we have in our real estate portfolio. 

  • Flea Markets/Gift and Craft Shows
    • Create layout
    • Make last minute additions/changes
    • Collect money and forms
    • Do deposit after event
    • Pass out next event flyer/form
  • 3rd Party Events
    • Make sure forms and fees are collected
      • Insurance collected (if applicable)
    • Make sure Maintenance has direction needed
      • Layouts
      • Clean/stock bathrooms if needed
      • Doors unlocked
      • Space clean in general
    • Maintenance
      • Communicate direction for events or tasks needing done
      • Keep informed of benefit changes or updates
      • Answering questions about daily operations
      • Approve vacation days
      • Help correct clock-in/out errors
      • Provide check lists/extra tasks to do
    • Mall – have a presence in the Mall Office/point person to help direct people
      • Do deposits
      • Collect change from kiddie rides
      • Deposit kiddie ride change
      • Help tenants with maintenance issues
      • Manage maintenance issue tickets
      • Sign out keys
      • Maintain outstanding key receipts
      • Keep tenants informed of mall news/things going on
      • Help RK coordinate events/use of space
      • Create social media posts
        • Create events
        • Post about mall news/exciting things
        • Store sales
        • Store news
        • Store hours if different than normal
      • Approve donation requests
      • Coordinate fundraiser booths/non-event weekend booths
      • Keep tenant contact list up to date
      • Answer phone
      • Check voicemail
      • Property walks
      • Audit maintenance checklist and send report
    • May be required to cross train to perform other duties

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences
  • Good visual acuity
  • Close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel as needed

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00 per hour and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
