JOB SUMMARY:

A Freight Processor associate is responsible for maintaining a safe, accurate and productive work environment. This position is responsible for the processing of all product received to the warehouse as well as loading any required outbound containers/trailers, in a safe and secure manner ensuring accurate counts on all product handled.

 

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for accurate inspection and counting of all product received to the warehouse or split down on the dock.

· Responsible for proper documentation of all bill of ladings and itemized shipping documentation.

· Responsible for moving product via pallet jack or forklift to and from locations.

· accurately and safely loading outbound containers/trailers.

· Responsible for using RF scan guns to load trailers, receive and put away merchandise.

· Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.

· Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· May be required to cross train and perform other duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Prior warehouse / manufacturing experience.

· Strong math skills and organizational skills required.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:

· Forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

· Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 65 pounds at times.

· Must be able to repetitively lift, bend, carry and push

· Must be able to access and navigate each department across facilities.

· Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).

· Must have close visual acuity.
